Sarkis Kiramijyan Celebrates Many Years of Professional Excellence in Cardiology
Dr. Kiramijyan earned the Fellow of the Year Teaching Excellence Award through UCLA
NEW HAVEN, CA, July 7, 2017, Sarkis Kiramijyan has been included in Marquis Who’s Who. As in all Marquis Who’s Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
With many years of industry experience, Dr. Kiramijyan serves as an interventional and structural cardiologist at Yale New Haven Hospital at Yale University. Since 2013, he has also worked as the chief executive officer of Gateway Industry, Inc., a community-based, nonprofit, public benefits organization that is dedicated to community improvement both domestically and abroad. Currently, the organization is in the process of rebuilding elementary schools in the severely war-stricken regions of the Republic of Nagorno Karabakh. Over the years, he has also lent his expertise to the Armenian Christian Youth Organization, the American Red Cross, and the Glendale Adventist Medical Center, where he developed radiographic film and organized it for presentation.
A graduate of George Washington University and UCLA, Dr. Kiramijyan holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Armenian Studies, as well as an MD. Additionally, he is board certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine, the Medical Board of California, and the Drug Enforcement Administration. In order to remain active and engaged in the medical field, he affiliates himself with the American Heart Association, the American College of Cardiology, the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, and the Armenian American Medical Society.
Throughout his notable career, Dr. Kiramijyan has earned a plethora of awards for his professional accomplishments, including being named to the faculty of the Cardiovascular Research Technologies Annual Scientific Symposiums in 2016 and 2017. A seasoned professional in his field, Dr. Kiramijyan also won the Fellow of the Year Teaching Excellence Award through UCLA’s Department of Medicine, was nominated for recognition with the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, and earned the prestigious PNC Foundation Nesh Scholarship for Outstanding Academic Achievement.
During his spare time, Dr. Kiramijyan enjoys giving back to his community through numerous organizations, including the Armenian American Medical Society, Emmaus Services for the Aging, Bread for the City, and the Academy of Music and Fine Arts. In the coming years, Dr. Kiramijyan intends to experience the continued growth and success of his career.
